Sheila Cantrell Thomas is the Vice President of Mortgage at Liberty Bank and Trust Company, headquartered in New Orleans, LA. Sheila is a seasoned mortgage professional with more than 25 years in the financial services industry. Specializing in mortgage lending and operations, Sheila has a proven track record of driving growth, improving efficiency, and leading high-performing teams. Throughout her career, Sheila has successfully developed strategic initiatives to increase loan volume, and ensured compliance with all regulatory requirements. She excels at building strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners, leveraging these connections to create win-win scenarios that benefit both the organization and its customers. Known for her leadership and vision, Sheila has consistently exceeded performance targets, implemented innovative solutions to streamline processes, and mentored team members to achieve their full potential. In her current role, she leads the overall mortgage operations including production planning, process workflow, customer service, online origination, mortgage accounting, and mortgage loan servicing. Sheila is a graduate of Mississippi State University and will always be a fierce Bulldog supporter. HailState!
